WW International, Inc. (NASDAQ: WW), operating as Weight Watchers, and CheqUp announced an expansion of their partnership in the United Kingdom, combining clinical and behavioral weight management services into a more integrated offering.

Under the expanded agreement, Weight Watchers members in the UK can access a CheqUp consultation directly through the Weight Watchers website, allowing them to enroll in CheqUp's medical weight loss program where clinically appropriate. In return, all CheqUp members continue to receive access to the Weight Watchers app and its Core+ program, including the GLP-1 Companion Programme for members using weight-loss medication.

The two companies first partnered in 2025, when Weight Watchers' behavioral program was made available to CheqUp members. The new arrangement creates a two-way referral structure that mirrors an integrated clinical and behavioral model already in place for Weight Watchers members in the United States.

The Weight Watchers GLP-1 Companion Programme, launched in the UK in May 2025, is built around four areas: personalized nutrition, medication tracking, strength and muscle support, and community accountability. According to a customer survey of U.S. members taking GLP-1 medications, 85% said Weight Watchers makes it easier to get healthy, and 81% described it as the right partner for their GLP-1 journey.

Lisa Tookey, CEO of CheqUp, said the expansion reflects the company's founding belief that sustainable weight health requires clinical oversight, behavioral support, and broader health monitoring working together.

The announcement follows a recent decision by the UK's National Health Service to expand access to weight-loss medications to more than one million people in England with heart health issues.
