Kansas City Current renews multi-year deal with BANK OF AMERICA
The Kansas City Current and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) have announced a multi-year renewal of their partnership, which originally began in 2023. The agreement keeps Bank of America as an official partner of the National Women's Soccer League club.
As part of the renewed deal, the Current will support Bank of America's global sports program, Sports with Us. The two organizations will also collaborate on "Soccer with Us" clinics, described as free soccer experiences targeting underserved communities.
Bank of America has previously served as a presenting sponsor of Kansas City Current youth soccer clinics, including a clinic and equipment donation drive at the 9th & Van Brunt Athletic Fields.
"Renewing our partnership with Bank of America represents a significant milestone for our organization," said Missy Jenkins, Senior Vice President of Commercial for the Kansas City Current. "Their steadfast support over the last three years has been extremely meaningful."
"Bank of America is greatly invested in the Kansas City community, and our renewed partnership with the Kansas City Current allows us to strengthen that commitment," said Matt Linski, president of Bank of America Kansas City.
Bank of America operates 33 locations across the Kansas City metro area. The bank is also the Official Bank of FIFA World Cup 2026, which spans 106 matches across North America.
Under the agreement, Bank of America will secure an entitlement night during a 2026 regular season home match at CPKC Stadium. Additional Current-themed rewards for Bank of America cardholders are expected to be announced at a later date.
