SEI launches unified platform for investment managers with AI tools
SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) announced the introduction of an enhanced unified platform for public and private market investment managers, combining SEI Data Cloud with a new manager portal called SEI Scope, according to a press release dated June 16, 2026.
SEI Data Cloud serves as a centralized data foundation focused on governance and data accuracy, while SEI Scope delivers configurable workflows, analytics, and digital net asset value drill-down capabilities. The combined platform is designed to automate NAV packages, embed quality control checks, and reduce manual reconciliations.
Alongside the platform launch, SEI is implementing Fenergo's client lifecycle management platform to handle anti-money laundering, know-your-customer, and client onboarding processes. The company also introduced waterfall calculation and scenario analysis tools connected to live fund data.
SEI separately launched SEI Access for CITs, an automated collective investment trust onboarding platform with intelligent data capture, digitized application documents, and real-time collaborative dashboards.
Phil McCabe, Head of SEI's Investment Managers business, said the platform enhancements are intended to help managers "shift from static reporting to continuous insight while maintaining accuracy, control, and human oversight."
The announcements follow SEI's previously disclosed partnership with IBM to pursue enterprise transformation through agentic AI and automation, with a focus on investor servicing and alternative fund accounting operations.
As of March 31, 2026, SEI manages, advises, or administers approximately $1.9 trillion in assets.
