GXO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: GXO) has been formally accepted as a member of Distretto Aerospaziale Piemonte (DAP), a non-profit aerospace association based in Italy's Piedmont region, according to a press release issued June 16, 2026.

DAP brings together aerospace industry participants, research institutions, and public bodies in Piedmont, including Leonardo, GE Avio Aero, Thales Alenia Space Italia, Politecnico di Torino, and regional government entities. The association was established in 2019 and focuses on fostering collaboration, supporting innovation, and facilitating access to funding within the aerospace sector.

Marco Galtelli, Business Development Director for GXO Italy & Switzerland, said the membership "reflects the momentum we're building in Aerospace & Defense and our commitment to delivering reliable, mission-critical logistics solutions across the full lifecycle — from production support to sustainment."

GXO states it operates more than 30 sites supporting aerospace and defense programs globally. Its services in the sector include production and assembly support, inbound material management, global spares management, kitting and sequencing, managed transportation, and Aircraft on Ground response support.

The DAP membership follows GXO's formation of a Defense Advisory Board and its participation in the Torus Defense Supply Chain, a UK-based defense alliance. GXO has also disclosed recent agreements with BAE Systems, Pratt & Whitney, and Boeing.
