TRANSUNION names Clayton Ruebensaal as chief marketing officer

TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) has appointed Clayton Ruebensaal as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, effective June 15, 2026, according to a company statement.

The role is newly created and will see Ruebensaal oversee TransUnion's Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Corporate Affairs and Communications teams. He will report directly to President and CEO Chris Cartwright and serve on the executive leadership team.

Ruebensaal joins from Comcast, where he led marketing, brand, media, and performance marketing for the company's $81 billion consumer business. Before Comcast, he held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer for Global B2B Marketing and Chief Brand Officer at American Express, and Vice President of Global Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton. He holds a B.A. from Butler University.

Cartwright said in the statement: "Clayton brings proven experience transforming global brands and driving results, and I'm confident he will strengthen how we communicate our value and elevate the impact of our products and technology."

TransUnion operates in more than 30 countries and employs over 13,000 people.
