Black Iron shareholders re-elect directors at annual meeting

Black Iron Inc. (TSX: BKI) reported the results of its annual shareholder meeting held June 11, with all nominated directors receiving approval from shareholders.

Matthew Simpson received the highest support with 19,266,057 votes representing 99.982% approval. John Detmold and Pierre Pettigrew each garnered 19,173,051 votes or 99.499% support. Zenon Potoczny obtained 19,141,051 votes for 99.333% approval, while David Porter received 17,387,589 votes representing 90.233% support.

A total of 32,052,899 common shares were voted at the meeting, representing approximately 9.645% of the company's issued and outstanding shares. Shareholders also approved the appointment of the company's auditors.

Black Iron is an iron ore exploration and development company that owns the Shymanivske Iron Ore Project in Kryviy Rih, Ukraine. The project is located near five operating mines, including facilities operated by Metinvest and ArcelorMittal.

The Toronto-based company's shares also trade on the OTC market under ticker BKIRF and on the Frankfurt Exchange as BIN. The information was disclosed in accordance with Toronto Stock Exchange policies.
