Vontier Corporation (NYSE: VNT) reduced its absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 49%, surpassing its 2030 target five years ahead of schedule, according to the company's 2026 Sustainability Report released Wednesday.

The mobility technology company has set a new target of 65% absolute emissions reduction by 2030. Vontier also reached its 2030 waste diversion goal early by diverting 91% of manufacturing site waste from landfills and generated $8.4 million in operational cost savings through internal efficiency initiatives.

"In 2025, we achieved a major milestone of reducing our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 49%, five years ahead of our 2030 target," said Mark Morelli, President and CEO of Vontier.

The company achieved safety improvements with its Total Recordable Incident Rate falling to 0.19, representing a 67% reduction from its 2022 baseline. Its Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred rate dropped to 0.14, a 65% reduction over the same period.

Vontier's global manufacturing sites achieved 100% ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certification, up from 78% in 2024, and maintained 100% ISO 14001 environmental management certification.

The company's Driivz EV charging platform expanded to 36 countries, supporting more than 3 million charging points and 6 million drivers. The platform enabled the avoidance of 1,014,000 metric tonnes of CO2e and delivered 1.34 TWh of energy in 2025.

Vontier received recognition including a Gold rating from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% of companies assessed globally, and straight "A" ratings from CDP in both Climate Change and Supplier Engagement categories.
