Camden Property Trust names Kevin Necas as chief accounting officer

Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT) announced that Kevin J. Necas, Jr. will become Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer effective July 2, 2026, replacing retiring executive Michael P. Gallagher.

Gallagher, the current Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, informed the company on June 5, 2026, of his plans to retire from his position effective July 2, 2026. The Board of Trust Managers appointed Necas to succeed him as principal accounting officer.

Necas, 42, joined Camden Property Trust in 2023 as Director of Accounting and was promoted to Vice President-Accounting in 2024. Prior to joining the company, he worked for five years in roles at CenterPoint Energy and Phillips 66.

The incoming chief accounting officer holds a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Legal Studies from Tulane University. He is also a certified public accountant.

The company stated that no arrangements or understandings exist between Necas and other persons regarding his appointment. Camden Property Trust also disclosed that Necas has no family relationships requiring disclosure under securities regulations and no material interest in transactions that would require regulatory disclosure.
