Lionsgate Studios Corp (LION) PT Raised to $17 at Benchmark on Long-Term Business Dynamics
Benchmark analyst Matthew Harrigan raised the price target on Lionsgate Studios Corp (NASDAQ: LION) to $17.00 (from $15.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, "We maintain a BUY on Lionsgate and are increasing our price target to $17 from $15. This is after now extending Benchmark StoneX’s forecast another 24 months through fiscal 2030 to better reflect the long-term dynamics for the business and accommodate concerns over comparisons post the (likely) two Michael releases and The Resurrection of the Christ films. It is plausible the two-part Resurrection project has even higher global box potential than Michael given its juxtaposition of locked in faith audience appeal and effects akin to a Marvel release. The Mel Gibson project for evident reasons should command remarkable evergreen library appeal. We are highly confident in further financial estimates, including a street high $413M F2028 EBITDA, as further window carryover from fiscal 2027 and a strong further pipeline creative suggest continued new release + library momentum. Lionsgate is furthermore the rare consumer growth name with de minimis recession concerns given its absence of advertising with further downside protection from M&A potential awareness."
