VirTra purchases dual-building campus in Orlando

June 10, 2026 8:02 AM

VirTra Inc. (NASDAQ: VTSI) purchased its existing Orlando facility and an adjacent property to expand its presence in Central Florida, the company announced.

The training simulator provider acquired the dual-building campus within Central Florida Research Park, a defense and technology hub housing companies including Boeing, BAE Systems, L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, and General Dynamics among more than 140 organizations.

VirTra previously leased its Orlando facility and has maintained operations in Central Florida for several years. The purchase converts the company's rental arrangement into owned real estate designed to support customer engagement and program activities.

"The purchase of our Orlando facility, along with a neighboring building, represents a long-term investment in both VirTra's future and the Central Florida community," said John Givens, CEO of VirTra.

The expanded campus will provide operational flexibility for customer-facing activities, administrative functions, and strategic collaboration as military and law enforcement agencies modernize training programs, according to the company's statement.

VirTra operates a 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Chandler, Arizona, alongside its Orlando operations. The company provides judgmental use-of-force and firearms training simulators for military and law enforcement markets.

The Orlando location positions VirTra within proximity to defense contractors and military simulation companies in the region's training ecosystem. Central Florida Research Park serves as a hub for defense, simulation, aerospace and technology organizations.
