Black Rock Coffee Bar opens tenth Austin area location
Black Rock Coffee Bar will open its tenth location in the Austin area on June 12 at 645 E Knights Way in Harker Heights, Texas. The Oregon-based coffee chain operates over 190 locations across seven states.
The new store will offer opening week promotions from June 12-17, including free drinks on opening day, buy-one-get-one-free offers, and discounted beverages with food purchases. The company will also distribute limited edition stickers and t-shirts during the promotional period.
"We're thrilled to continue growing in Austin and to bring the Black Rock experience to even more neighborhoods across the Austin Metro Area," said Mark Davis, CEO of Black Rock Coffee Bar.
The coffee shop serves specialty beverages including the Caramel Blondie, Mexican Mocha, and Jackhammer drinks, along with its Fuel energy drinks available in over 20 fruit flavors. Food options include egg bites and grilled cheese sandwiches.
Black Rock operates a rewards program through its mobile app where customers earn points called "bolts" for purchases that can be redeemed for free beverages. The program includes both in-store and online purchases.
The chain was founded in Oregon in 2008 as a family-owned business. Current summer menu items include the Fudge Brownie Mocha, Blueberry Cobbler Latte, and a Mystery Dirty Pop featuring OLIPOP Dr. Goodwin.
