CleanCore Solutions names Tyler Hassen CEO, pivots to AI infrastructure
CleanCore Solutions Inc. (NYSE American: ZONE) appointed Tyler Hassen as chief executive officer and board member as the company shifts from cleaning products to AI infrastructure development, according to a press release.
Hassen previously served as acting assistant secretary of policy, management and budget at the U.S. Department of the Interior under Secretary Doug Burgum. He also served as CEO of Basin Holdings, an energy and industrial business.
The company signed a non-binding letter of intent for a data center project in the Midwest. CleanCore is evaluating additional development opportunities in rural and industrial areas across the United States.
"Compute has become one of the most valuable resources in the world, and the demand for power, land and infrastructure it requires is unprecedented, and only continues to accelerate," Hassen said.
CleanCore stated it will move away from its cleaning products business and its previously announced Dogecoin treasury strategy. The company was formerly backed by the Dogecoin Foundation in partnership.
Alex Spiro serves as chairman of the board of directors.
The company aims to develop data centers and infrastructure to meet demand for compute capacity from AI companies. CleanCore acknowledged it lacks operating history in the data center industry and faces significant capital requirements for infrastructure projects.
