Cyngn sees growing enterprise interest in fleet autonomous vehicles

June 8, 2026 7:05 AM

Cyngn Inc. (NASDAQ: CYN) announced that industrial organizations are increasingly evaluating autonomous vehicle technology for large-scale deployment across their operations, representing a shift from proof-of-concept testing to operational implementation.

The Mountain View, California-based company reported strong engagement from global industrial operators during the second quarter. Cyngn's commercial pipeline spans nine industry verticals, 35 U.S. states, and international markets, with increasing interest in multi-vehicle deployments.

"The conversation is increasingly focused on operational deployment, scalability, and long-term value creation rather than proof-of-concept testing," said Marty Petraitis, Vice President of Sales at Cyngn. "Customers are asking how quickly they can implement autonomy across their facilities, not whether the technology works."

Cyngn's DriveMod technology enables industrial vehicles to operate autonomously in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, and outdoor industrial environments. The technology is currently available on Motrec MT-160 Tuggers and BYD Forklifts.

The DriveMod Tugger can haul up to 12,000 pounds, operates both indoors and outdoors, and targets a payback period of less than two years. The DriveMod Forklift handles heavy loads with non-standard pallets and is available to select customers.

The company develops autonomous vehicle technology for industrial organizations including manufacturers and logistics companies, addressing challenges such as labor shortages and safety incidents. The information is based on a company press release.
