S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL) will be added to the S&P 500 index effective prior to the open of trading on June 22, 2026, as part of the quarterly rebalance.

The information technology company will join the index alongside Flex Ltd. (NASDAQ: FLEX), also from the information technology sector. Pool Corp (NASDAQ: POOL) and Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) will be removed from the S&P 500 to make room for the additions.

The changes are designed to ensure each index better represents its market capitalization range, according to the index provider. Companies being removed from the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 are no longer representative of their respective market cap segments.

Additional changes include Roku Inc. (NASDAQ: ROKU) moving from the S&P 500 to the S&P MidCap 400, while Pool Corp will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 after its removal from the large-cap index.

The quarterly rebalance affects multiple companies across the three indices, with various firms moving between the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 based on their current market capitalizations. All changes will take effect simultaneously before market open on the specified date.
