SurgePays partners with BrandRap to build AI decisioning engine

June 5, 2026 9:30 AM

SurgePays Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG) announced it has signed a master services agreement with BrandRap to develop an artificial intelligence decisioning engine for its ProgramBenefits.com platform. The Bartlett, Tennessee-based fintech and mobile virtual network operator expects Phase 1 production delivery in July 2026.

The AI engine is designed to analyze consumer data and provide ranked recommendations for multiple products during a single customer session, including wireless activation, prepaid cards, benefits enrollment, and financial services. BrandRap, an Irvine, California-based AI consultancy led by CEO Haris Karim, will build the system.

According to the company, the engine will process verified consumer intent data captured through ProgramBenefits.com to determine product eligibility and conversion probability across multiple verticals. The system aims to increase revenue per subscriber from existing traffic rather than acquiring new customers.

"ProgramBenefits.com is generating over 1,000 new customer adds per day and remains well below operating capacity," said Jan Salinas, Vice President of Operations at SurgePays. The executive stated the decisioning engine will automate the process of routing consumers to multiple eligible products from one session.

SurgePays operates through subsidiaries including Surge Logics Inc., which generated more than $50 million in revenue under a previous model. The company relaunched the platform as ProgramBenefits.com in November 2025 and expanded distribution to three demand aggregators in December 2025.

The company serves approximately 138 million subprime consumers in the United States through its point-of-sale platform deployed across approximately 9,000 convenience stores. SurgePays delivers prepaid wireless and financial products through its subsidiaries, which include LinkUp Mobile and Torch Wireless.
