Abercrombie & Fitch opens new store in Manhattan's SoHo district
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) opened a new store at 520 Broadway in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood. The three-floor location spans between Spring and Broome Streets and opened to the public on June 5.
The store features what the company describes as its first "Heritage Meets Modern" design concept, incorporating archival displays and heritage-inspired furnishings. The location includes curated archive displays showcasing historical apparel and memorabilia, including a 1911 "Saranac" cord suit and a "Rainbow Pond" jacket from the late 1960s.
The store offers men's and women's apparel collections, including the company's denim and Office Approved lines, along with exclusive New York City merchandise. The location introduces the brand's first accessories section, featuring footwear, sunglasses and bags. The second floor includes an activation space designed to resemble a New York hotel bar.
"We are proud to open our doors in the heart of one of New York City's most iconic shopping destinations," said Melissa Worth, Managing Director for the Americas at Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
The store operates daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. As part of the opening weekend, the company partnered with local creative studio Abbode for custom embroidery services.
Hollister, another division of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., will open a store at 547 Broadway later this month in the former Abercrombie SoHo location, according to the press release.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
