Investing.com -- Airbus delivered 81 aircraft to 45 customers in May, the company said Friday. The European aircraft manufacturer also recorded 379 gross orders during the month.

The May deliveries brought Airbus's total deliveries for 2026 to 262 aircraft, distributed among 68 customers through the end of May.

Airbus's total order book stood at 26,272 aircraft across all models at the end of May. The company has delivered 17,019 aircraft in total throughout its history.

The A320 Family remained the largest component of Airbus's operations, with 20,169 total orders and 12,670 deliveries to date. The current fleet of A320 Family aircraft in operation numbered 11,374 units.

The A350 program showed 1,595 total orders with 718 deliveries completed. The A330 program recorded 1,955 total orders and 1,670 deliveries.

The smaller A220 program had 1,109 total orders with 517 deliveries, while 513 aircraft were in active service. The A380 program, which has ended production, showed 251 total orders and deliveries, with 199 aircraft currently in fleet.
