Six Flags expands membership program to six additional parks

June 5, 2026 6:02 AM

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) announced it will expand its membership program to six additional parks starting June 8, offering guests monthly payment options for year-round access to multiple park locations.

The membership program launches for the first time at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina; Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia; Kings Island in Mason, Ohio; Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California; and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels in Texas.

Gold memberships provide access to parks within designated geographic regions including West, Texas, Midwest and East. The program offers an alternative to traditional season passes by providing continuous 12-month access rather than seasonal expiration and allows monthly payments instead of upfront costs.

"Our new membership unlocks an entirely new level of access—giving guests the ability to visit multiple parks across their region with one pass," said Chris Meyering, Six Flags' senior vice president of commercial.

The membership program includes benefits such as free general parking at select parks, discounts on food and merchandise, and bring-a-friend offers. Higher-tier memberships provide additional perks including skip-the-line access and preferred parking.

Six Flags first introduced memberships in 2013. The company operates 20 amusement parks, 14 water parks and nine resort properties across 13 states in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and manages an amusement park in Saudi Arabia.

The expansion comes as the company shifts toward what it describes as a more stable, recurring revenue model. Guests can explore membership options and pricing beginning June 8 at SixFlags.com.
