Tempest Therapeutics adds two independent directors to board
Tempest Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: TPST) appointed Drake Richey and John Yee, MD, MPH as independent directors to its board of directors, effective June 4, 2026, according to a company statement.
Richey serves as President of Bush & Company, a financial advisory firm. He previously held positions as President of Life Check, Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo, and Director at Fitch Ratings. Richey earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College.
Yee currently serves as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Apnimed, Inc. His previous roles included Chief Medical Officer at Sobi North America, Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at Flexion Therapeutics, Inc., and Senior Vice President and Global Head of Medical Affairs at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He also held various medical leadership positions at Genzyme Corporation and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Yee earned his MD at Harvard Medical School and MPH in Health Care Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
