Meta launches AI creator assistant for Facebook content makers

June 4, 2026 11:03 AM

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) announced Thursday the launch of creator assistant, an AI-powered tool integrated into Facebook's creator dashboard. The feature provides personalized content recommendations based on individual creator performance data, audience engagement patterns, and content style.

The assistant analyzes creator metrics to answer specific questions about content performance, such as why certain posts outperformed others or how audience demographics have changed over time. Creators can interact with the tool conversationally, asking follow-up questions to gain deeper insights into their content strategy.

Creator assistant also functions as a brainstorming tool, suggesting content ideas based on trending audio, cultural moments, and popular content formats on Facebook. The system learns from each interaction to tailor recommendations toward individual creator goals, whether focused on audience growth, engagement, or monetization.

The tool is currently rolling out to creators in the United States, Canada, and India. Meta plans to add new capabilities and expand availability to additional countries in the coming months.

Meta also announced an expansion of its AI-powered Reels translation feature, which launched last year across nine languages. The company reported that over 500 million Facebook users watch AI-translated videos weekly. The translation service preserves creators' voice characteristics and offers optional lip-syncing technology.

The translation feature will expand to include Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, French, Thai, and Vietnamese languages. Meta stated the tool helps creators reach international audiences by breaking down language barriers while maintaining the authenticity of their original content.
