Arch Insurance makes leadership changes to strengthen wholesale business
Arch Insurance North America announced several leadership appointments to strengthen its wholesale platform and support growth in the Excess & Surplus market, according to a company statement.
Jason Conkin was promoted to Division President – Wholesale Property & Casualty, where he will lead underwriting and expansion initiatives for E&S lines. Mike Ward was promoted to Executive Vice President, Head of E&S Casualty, and Joe Morrello was named Executive Vice President, Head of E&S Property. Both Ward and Morrello will report to Conkin.
Jared Stacey was appointed Senior Vice President, Head of Wholesale Distribution, reporting to Sue Srinivasan, Executive Vice President, Distribution. Stacey will coordinate wholesale distribution strategy and work to align underwriting teams while providing consistent service to wholesale partners.
"Unifying E&S Property and E&S Casualty under Jason, and appointing Jared as a dedicated Wholesale distribution leader, allows for stronger internal collaboration and demonstrates our commitment to growing our E&S business across market cycles with Wholesale producers," said Brian First, President of Arch Insurance North America.
The company also announced that Valerie Turpin, Division President – Property, will retire effective July 1 after nearly eight years leading the Property business for Arch Insurance.
