CPI Aerostructures Inc. (NYSE American: CVU) received a life-of-program supply agreement from Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ) to manufacture engine inlet assemblies for the Phenom 100EX business jets, according to a company statement.

The first assemblies produced by CPI Aero were delivered to Embraer in May 2026. The contract supplements CPI Aero's existing work on the Phenom 300E inlet program, where the company has delivered over 1,900 inlets to date.

Embraer unveiled the Phenom 100EX in October 2023 as the latest evolution of its Phenom 100 series, which has been in operation since 2008 with over 400 aircraft delivered. The aircraft serves owner-pilots, private companies and flight academies.

"This program is a perfect fit for CPI's Aerostructures Assembly & Integration Market Segment and builds on the experience and performance we have on the Phenom 300 series," stated Dorith Hakim, President and CEO of CPI Aero.

CPI Aero operates as a prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Defense and serves as a Tier 1 subcontractor to aerospace and defense contractors. The company provides engineering, program management, supply chain management, assembly operations and maintenance services.

The company reported a funded backlog of performance obligations exceeding $95 million, with an unfunded backlog of $400 million for future orders across existing programs, totaling $495 million in backlog.
