SenesTech Inc. (NASDAQ: SNES) announced a distribution agreement with Animal and Garden House to bring its Evolve Rodent Birth Control products to Bermuda. The company said this expansion marks another step in its presence in environmentally sensitive island markets.

The Arizona-based company develops birth control solutions for managing rodent populations. According to the announcement, Bermuda's regulatory environment for pesticides is highly controlled due to concerns about runoff, non-target exposure, and wildlife impacts.

"Evolve Rodent Birth Control offers a novel approach to managing rodent populations by reducing fertility rather than relying solely on lethal methods," said Jennifer McCarron of Animal and Garden House. The distributor indicated the product can be used alongside or in place of traditional rodenticides.

SenesTech President and CEO Michael Edell stated that Bermuda represents an ideal market for Evolve due to the island's focus on environmental stewardship and the realities of rodent control in a compact ecosystem.

The company noted it has existing deployments of Evolve in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Belize. SenesTech describes its mission as creating healthier environments through animal pest population management via birth control methods.
