U.S. Energy Corp. rebrands as Big Sky Industrial Inc.

June 4, 2026 7:01 AM

U.S. Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: USEG) announced it will change its corporate name to Big Sky Industrial Inc. and its ticker symbol to BSIN, effective June 8, 2026. The company said the rebrand aligns its public identity with its focus on helium and carbon management operations at the Big Sky Carbon Hub in Montana.

The Houston-based company operates three business lines: helium production, carbon management, and oil production. CEO Ryan Smith said the company has divested non-core oil and gas assets over the past 18 months to fund the Big Sky Carbon Hub project.

According to the company, it has reached final investment decision on a processing facility, completed Phase 1 capital funding, and signed a five-year helium offtake agreement with an industrial gas counterparty. The company characterized the agreement as 100 percent take-or-pay with an investment-grade counterparty.

The company's CUSIP number will remain 911805307, and no shareholder action is required for the name change. All existing shares will automatically represent Big Sky Industrial Inc. shares under the new ticker symbol. The number of authorized shares, outstanding shares, and par value remain unchanged.

Big Sky Industrial focuses on helium as what it calls a federally designated critical mineral, carbon management opportunities supported by Section 45Q federal tax credits, and conventional oil production. The company's operations are located in Montana's Kevin Dome region.

The information was disclosed in a company press release.
