Ford announces Bronco Filson SUV with mid-$70k starting price
Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) announced the Bronco Filson, a collaboration with outdoor gear manufacturer Filson that will go on sale in early 2027. The vehicle represents Ford's premium offering in the Bronco lineup with a targeted starting price in the mid-$70,000 range.
The Bronco Filson features a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine shared with the Bronco Raptor and comes standard with the Sasquatch package. This includes front and rear electronic locking differentials, Fox shocks with internal bypass technology, and 35-inch rugged-terrain tires.
Interior features include perforated quilted leather seats, a leather-wrapped instrument panel and steering wheel, and brass accents. Ford claims the cabin achieves nearly 20% less perceived wind noise compared to the 2021 Bronco model. Additional features include ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a B&O audio system.
The vehicle includes Filson-inspired removable saddlebags integrated throughout the interior, made from water- and dirt-resistant materials. Exterior features include a unique front grille, heritage-painted wheel arches, and trail sight tie-downs designed to secure longer items.
Ford will offer a limited Bronco Filson First Edition for North America featuring exclusive Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint and a serialized console badge. The vehicle will be assembled at Ford's Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.
Orders will open in fall 2026, with vehicles arriving in showrooms in early 2027. A Bronco Filson Tour will begin in July 2026 to showcase the vehicle across multiple cities. Ford will also release a limited-edition Bronco x Filson merchandise collection starting June 4.
