Lemonade expands autonomous car insurance to Indiana for Tesla drivers
Lemonade (NYSE: LMND) announced that its Autonomous Car insurance product is now available in Indiana for Tesla owners. The insurance offers a 50% discount on miles driven using Tesla's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) technology.
The product targets Tesla drivers specifically and provides reduced rates when the vehicle operates in Full Self-Driving mode. Tesla owners in Indiana can obtain quotes through the Lemonade app or website, with additional savings available when bundled with other Lemonade insurance products.
"Tesla's safe FSD (Supervised) tech reduces the chances of getting into an accident. Our intelligent pricing models see this in the data and can pass real savings, with high precision, on to Tesla customers," said Shai Wininger, President and Co-Founder of Lemonade.
Lemonade maintains its standard car insurance offerings, which cover most popular vehicles including Teslas, across ten states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
The company operates as a technology-driven insurance provider offering renters, homeowners, car, pet, and life insurance products. Lemonade currently serves customers in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and the United Kingdom.
