Navitas showcases 800V power delivery board at NVIDIA MGX ecosystem event
Navitas Semiconductor (NASDAQ: NVTS) participated in NVIDIA's Partner Ceremony on May 29, 2026, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, demonstrating its 800V-to-6V DC-DC power delivery board at the NVIDIA AI Factory MGX ecosystem showcase during COMPUTEX 2026.
The power delivery board features 16 GaNFast FETs rated at 650V and 11 mOhms in DFN8x8 dual-cooled packages. The board targets 97.5% peak efficiency, operates at 1 MHz switching frequency, and enables a power density of 2100 W/in³. The company states the board is approximately 20% thinner than a mobile phone.
The technology eliminates the need for a traditional 48V intermediate bus converter stage within compute server trays. The board uses Navitas' gallium nitride technology for power conversion in AI data center applications.
"Through our collaboration with NVIDIA within the MGX ecosystem, Navitas is delivering GaN and SiC power technologies that enable megawatt-scale AI server racks with higher power density, a smaller system footprint, and improved thermal performance," said Chris Allexandre, President and CEO of Navitas.
Navitas also offers silicon carbide solutions for power delivery applications, including solid-state transformers with 2300V and 3300V SiC power modules, and three-phase power supply units using 1200V SiC MOSFETs.
The company manufactures gallium nitride and silicon carbide power semiconductors for AI data centers, energy infrastructure, and industrial applications. Information is based on a company press release.
