Oshkosh Defense receives $142 million in FMTV A2 vehicle orders

Oshkosh Defense LLC, a business unit of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), announced orders totaling $142 million for its Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles A2 platform from U.S. and international customers.

The orders include FMTV A2 4x4 Cargo, 6x6 Cargo, and Long Wheel Base configurations designed for operational use across various environments, according to a company statement.

"The continued demand for the FMTV A2, both in the U.S. and internationally, reflects the platform's ability to perform across a wide range of missions and environments," said Pat Williams, Chief Programs Officer at Oshkosh Defense.

The company stated that international defense forces are seeking tactical mobility solutions that can adapt to operational requirements. Oshkosh Defense manufactures military vehicles and equipment as part of Oshkosh Corporation's defense segment.

Oshkosh Corporation employs over 18,000 people worldwide and operates in more than 150 countries through various brands including JLG, Pierce, and Oshkosh Defense. The Wisconsin-based company produces equipment for defense, firefighting, construction, and airport operations.
