Digi Power X Inc. (NASDAQ: DGXX) announced a $35 million commitment to purchase NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform systems for its NeoCloudz GPU-as-a-Service business. The AI data center infrastructure operator plans initial deployment in Q1 2027, subject to NVIDIA's production schedule.

The Vera Rubin systems represent NVIDIA's rack-scale successor to Blackwell, featuring Rubin GPUs with 288GB HBM4 memory paired with 88-core Vera CPUs connected via NVLink 6. The company intends to fund the purchase from existing cash reserves.

Digi Power X reported having approximately $150 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 3, 2026, according to Chief Financial Officer Paul Ciullo. The company has deployed roughly $65 million into its Alabama facility year-to-date from internal resources.

The company's flagship AI data center development remains on schedule, with Phase 1 targeting 15 MW of IT load and a ready-for-service date of December 15, 2026. Full 40 MW deployment is targeted by the end of Q1 2027. The dedicated on-site substation is complete, with grid interconnection finalized and a power delivery agreement in place.

Digi Power X secured commitments for all major long-lead equipment required for Phase 1, including electrical and switchgear infrastructure. The company's NeoCloudz platform has been processing AI workloads on deployed NVIDIA B200 and B300 GPUs since May 15, 2026, generating its first AI-related revenues in May.

The company is arranging project-level financing to support data center expansion and expects to provide details upon execution of definitive documentation. Digi Power X operates AI infrastructure across Alabama, New York, and North Carolina.
