AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) announced a marketing collaboration with Disney and Pixar's "Toy Story 5" that includes a custom animated commercial, in-store experiences, and community screenings. The campaign begins ahead of the movie's June 19 theatrical release.

The telecommunications company created an animated commercial with Pixar Animation Studios featuring characters from the upcoming film. AT&T will transform select retail stores in six markets into interactive experiences from June 8 through July 9. The locations include Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.

"Connection is what AT&T does best, and this collaboration with Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 5 lets us bring that to life for families in a real way," said Angela Rittgers, senior vice president of consumer national revenue operations at AT&T.

The company will sell officially licensed accessories including phone cases, portable batteries, and Toy Story character items starting June 5 at select stores and online. AT&T will also host special movie screenings for families from its Connected Learning Centers.

AT&T operates Connected Learning Centers as part of its digital equity initiatives. The company reported reaching more than 2.4 million people through digital resources since 2021, with nearly one million students participating through The Achievery program. AT&T plans to open at least 100 Connected Learning Centers by the end of 2027.

The campaign promotes AT&T's amiGO device lineup designed for families, which includes a children's phone, smartwatch, and tablet with parental controls and monitoring features.

"Toy Story 5" is directed by Andrew Stanton and features returning voice actors Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack. The film introduces a new character called Lilypad, a tablet device voiced by Greta Lee.
