Customers Bank partners with ElevenLabs for AI voice agents
Customers Bank announced a collaboration with ElevenLabs to deploy AI-powered conversational agents across customer service and internal operations. The bank, a subsidiary of Customers Bancorp (NYSE: CUBI) with nearly $26 billion in assets, plans to integrate voice and chat capabilities into its service model.
The partnership will implement several AI-powered tools including voice and digital agents for customer service, real-time assist agents for relationship managers, and conversational agents for account opening processes. These agents are designed to provide 24/7 support across multiple channels.

ElevenLabs provides conversational AI technology that combines speech recognition and text-to-speech models. The company serves enterprises across financial services and other regulated industries. Customers Bank reports a Net Promoter Score of 81 compared to an industry average of 41. The bank has been named a Top 10 Performing Bank by American Banker for five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025, including the top spot in 2024 among midsize banks with $10 billion to $50 billion in assets.
