Keysight introduces two RF signal analyzers for wireless design
Keysight Technologies Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) announced the launch of two RF signal analyzers designed for wireless system design and validation. The company introduced the Pro XA6 SA6320A and Expert XA5 SA6210A signal analyzers to address challenges in testing increasingly complex wireless systems.
The Pro XA6 SA6320A offers up to 8 GHz analysis bandwidth and frequency coverage up to 67 GHz. The analyzer targets wideband, millimeter-wave, radar, and electromagnetic spectrum operations applications. Features include GPU-accelerated demodulation for 5G NR measurements and up to 80 MHz resolution bandwidth for regulatory compliance testing.
The Expert XA5 SA6210A provides swept measurements up to 32 GHz and analysis bandwidth up to 2 GHz. The analyzer includes dual-receiver architecture for 5G NR and WLAN MIMO measurements. It supports cross-correlated error vector magnitude analysis and features a redesigned user interface with legacy X-Series SCPI compatibility.
According to the company, both analyzers address workflow challenges engineers face when working with wider bandwidths, higher frequencies, and complex signal environments. The instruments aim to reduce measurement time and provide visibility into signal behavior for wireless, radar, and wideband system validation.
"Wireless design and validation are becoming significantly more challenging as engineers work with wider bandwidths, higher frequencies, and more complex signal environments," said Jun Chie, Vice President of Keysight Core Product Management.
The analyzers support various applications including 5G, wireless local area networks, ultra-wideband, radar, and general-purpose wireless testing workflows. Information is based on a company press release.
