June 2, 2026 10:01 AM

Critical Metals Corp. (NASDAQ: CRML) reported progress on infrastructure development at its Tanbreez rare earth project in Greenland, according to a company statement.

The company said construction activities continue at the project site, with footings for the pilot plant headquarters and infrastructure facilities now underway. Development of camp facilities adjacent to Qaqortoq International Airport is also advancing, including construction of mess hall and office facilities.

Critical Metals has assembled additional drill rigs that are scheduled for field mobilization in the coming weeks to support expanded drilling programs and resource development activities. The company recently held a technical meeting with NIRAS to plan geotechnical drilling surveys for engineering design and infrastructure placement.

Field crews have begun surveying and preparation activities in the Upper Fjord and Hill Deposit areas for bulk sampling programs intended to provide feedstock for pilot plant testing and metallurgical evaluation.

"Our teams continue to execute on key milestones that support the accelerated development of the Tanbreez Project," said Tony Sage, chairman of Critical Metals. The company expects stage 1 completion of its pilot plant and head office facilities by August 2026.

Critical Metals has increased personnel and operational logistics through jet arrivals at Qaqortoq International Airport to support expanded site activity and technical programs for the upcoming field season.

The Tanbreez project is described by the company as one of the world's largest rare earth deposits. Critical Metals also owns the Wolfsberg lithium project in Austria.
