June 2, 2026 9:00 AM

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. (NASDAQ: ONCY) announced the appointment of Steve Glover to its board of directors and the promotion of John McAdory to chief operating officer.

Glover brings public company leadership and transaction experience to the clinical-stage biotechnology company. He previously served as chairman of Ambrx Biopharma during its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson in a transaction valued at approximately $2 billion.

McAdory, who joined Oncolytics earlier this year from CG Oncology where he served as vice president of clinical operations, will oversee the company's clinical operations, development activities, and preclinical research. He will also play a role in strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.

"Steve has extensive experience helping build and position innovative biotechnology companies for strategic growth and value creation," said Jared Kelly, chief executive officer of Oncolytics. "His experience across corporate strategy, financing, and strategic transactions will be invaluable as we continue to advance pelareorep and expand our immunotherapy platform strategy."

Kelly added that McAdory "has already had a meaningful impact on our operational execution and clinical development strategy" since joining the company.

Oncolytics is developing pelareorep, an investigational immunotherapy delivered intravenously. The company has received Fast Track designation from the FDA for pelareorep in colorectal and pancreatic cancer. The drug is being tested in combination with chemotherapy and checkpoint inhibitors in metastatic gastrointestinal cancers.

The information is based on a company press release.
