Digital Turbine launches Launchpad app distribution platform

June 2, 2026 8:06 AM

Digital Turbine Inc. (NASDAQ: APPS) announced the launch of Launchpad, a unified app distribution platform designed to support app discovery and distribution across devices, apps, and direct install experiences.

The platform combines Digital Turbine's distribution infrastructure, including carrier and OEM integrations, frictionless installs with SingleTap technology, direct app relationships, and a global footprint spanning more than 82,000 apps and over one billion devices.

Launchpad enables app discovery and install experiences across on-device discovery, direct-to-consumer install flows, in-app install opportunities, traditional storefront destinations, and programmatic acquisition experiences.

The platform is currently being used by developers including Zynga, Playtika, and King, as well as mobile partners including Orange, Motorola, and Telefónica.

"Over the past year, we have seen a 40% increase in the number of apps and an increase in the amount of time spent in apps," said Bill Stone, CEO of Digital Turbine. "As distribution becomes more critical, developers are looking for more flexibility, control, and efficiency across how apps are discovered, distributed, and monetized."

In a recent incrementality study, Playrix found that 97% of installs driven through Digital Turbine's dynamic install experiences were incremental, with users more than 40 times more likely to open the app when surfaced directly on-device.

The platform operates as part of Digital Turbine's broader strategy spanning app distribution, advertising, monetization, and on-device experiences. The technology is powered by DT iQ and Ignite Graph systems.

Digital Turbine's technology operates on more than one billion devices and is embedded across 80,000+ apps, reaching over one billion users monthly, according to the company's press release statement.
