Marcus Corporation CIO Kim Lueck to retire after 30 years

Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS) announced that Kim M. Lueck, chief information officer of Marcus Corporation and chief information technology officer of Marcus Theatres, will retire on August 1, 2026, after nearly 30 years with the company.

Lueck began her career with Marcus Theatres in 1997 as an information technology project manager and joined Marcus Corporation's IT team in 2000. She was named chief information technology officer of Marcus Theatres in 2008 and promoted to chief information officer of Marcus Corporation in 2014.

"Over her nearly three decades with the company, Kim has made numerous important contributions to the reliability and effectiveness of our enterprise-wide technology infrastructure," said Gregory S. Marcus, chief executive officer of Marcus Corporation.

The Milwaukee Business Journal recognized Lueck as Chief Information Officer of the Year in 2018. Celluloid Junkie named her one of the top 50 women in global cinema in 2019, 2020, 2023 and 2025.

Lueck serves on the board for Variety, a Children's Charity, and Women in Exhibition. She also serves as program chair of WisconsinCIO.

Marcus Corporation has initiated a process to identify its next IT leader, according to the company statement.

Milwaukee-based Marcus Corporation operates in the entertainment and hospitality industries. Its theatre division, Marcus Theatres, operates 975 screens at 77 locations in 17 states. The company's hospitality division owns and manages 17 hotels, resorts and other properties in eight states.
