YY Group invests in NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs for workforce AI development

June 2, 2026 7:37 AM

YY Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ: YYGH) announced an investment in high-performance computing infrastructure featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. The Singapore-based AI-native workforce management platform plans to use the hardware for internal development and fine-tuning of proprietary AI models for workforce applications.

The company operates an intelligent workforce solutions platform called YY Circle, serving clients in hospitality, food and beverage, retail, and other service sectors across Asia. YY Group also provides integrated facility management services through its 24IFM software platform.

"True workforce AI requires more than generic automation wrapper APIs; it demands domain-specific models trained on high-fidelity operational data and powered by dedicated hardware," said Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group.

The infrastructure will support several technical capabilities, including localized customization of large language models with 7B to 14B parameters using QLoRA optimization techniques. The system will leverage NVIDIA TensorRT for training embedding and reranking layers to improve semantic search quality for candidate-to-job matching.

YY Group plans to deploy high-throughput serving frameworks using open-source engines integrated with NVIDIA hardware acceleration. These will create internal API endpoints that connect with the company's existing product offerings.

The announcement, based on a company press release, represents YY Group's strategy to embed AI capabilities across its business operations to reduce costs and improve service quality. The company trades on the Nasdaq Capital Market.
