Telix and United Imaging form theranostics collaboration

June 2, 2026 7:01 AM

Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (NASDAQ: TLX) and United Imaging Healthcare North America announced a memorandum of understanding to evaluate a strategic research collaboration focused on theranostics solutions in the United States.

The collaboration will combine United Imaging's scanner platforms, software, connectivity and artificial intelligence capabilities with Telix's molecular imaging portfolio and clinical protocols. The companies plan to enhance integration between imaging systems and radiopharmaceutical workflows, enable protocol-driven imaging performance, and support treatment planning and patient management.

The partnership will initially focus on TLX101-Px (Pixclara, Floretyrosine F 18) in the U.S., with potential expansion into additional markets and other Telix products subject to mutual agreement. Early efforts include scanning protocol optimization, workflow support tools development and validation, and pilot programs for clinical applications.

TLX101-Px is a PET imaging candidate that has received Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations from the FDA for characterizing recurrent or progressive glioma from treatment-related changes. The FDA accepted Telix's New Drug Application for review in April 2026 and assigned a PDUFA goal date of September 11, 2026.

The imaging agent targets membrane transport proteins known as L-type amino acid transporters 1 and 2, potentially enabling its use as a patient selection and response assessment tool for Telix's therapy candidate TLX101-Tx, currently under investigation in the IPAX-BrIGHT trial for patients with recurrent glioblastoma.

United Imaging develops medical products, digital healthcare solutions, and intelligent systems for imaging diagnosis and treatment. Founded in 2011, the company operates subsidiaries and research centers worldwide with North American headquarters in Houston.
