Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) announced a €40 million investment in its French manufacturing and operations network over the next three years. The company made the announcement at the Choose France Summit 2026 at the Palace of Versailles.

The investment will focus on four areas across Newell's French sites: advanced manufacturing automation and new production line capabilities, a digitization program using artificial intelligence and modern manufacturing systems, sustainability and infrastructure upgrades, and workforce development programs.

"France is a strategically important market for Newell, and this announcement underscores our commitment to keeping our French business globally competitive," said Chris Peterson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Newell Brands.

France ranks among Newell's top ten international markets and represents part of the company's international business, which accounts for 39% of total sales. The company has operated in France for over 100 years, producing brands including Parker, Waterman, Spontex, and Campingaz. Newell subsidiaries currently operate sites across four major regions in France and employ nearly 1,000 people in the country.

The consumer goods company owns brands including Parker, Yankee Candle, DYMO, Paper Mate, Waterman, Spontex, and Campingaz. The investment forms part of Newell's strategy to strengthen competitiveness and drive value creation by directing resources toward growth areas.

Max Menozzi, President EMEA and APAC at Newell Brands, stated that France serves as a cornerstone of the company's international business and the investment demonstrates dedication to its continued strength.
