ARRAY Technologies enhances OmniTrack with 2-degree terrain flexibility

June 1, 2026 9:01 AM

ARRAY Technologies (NASDAQ: ARRY) announced an updated version of its OmniTrack terrain-following solar tracker that doubles its flex capability to 2 degrees between adjacent posts, compared to the previous 1-degree limitation.

The enhanced design allows the tracker to accommodate greater slope changes across uneven terrain, which the company states can reduce construction costs and accelerate deployment by minimizing site grading requirements. The update makes OmniTrack viable for a broader range of challenging terrain conditions.

OmniTrack, introduced in 2024, currently represents the highest share of ARRAY's orderbook among all products. The tracker is built on the DuraTrack platform architecture and includes the company's wind stow technology and SmarTrack software.

"Our customers love OmniTrack, and the opportunities for faster deployment and cost savings our terrain-following solution can unlock," said Nick Strevel, Chief Product Officer at ARRAY. "We are thrilled to release a new iteration that makes OmniTrack a viable solution for a broader range of uneven and challenging sites."

The increased flexibility enables shorter pile lengths, reduced grading, and minimized site preparation. The company states this can help preserve natural site hydrology, reduce erosion risk, and potentially eliminate disturbed areas on some terrain-following projects.

The updated OmniTrack is available for quotation and is expected to ship in the third quarter of 2026. ARRAY Technologies provides solar tracking technology and related services to utility-scale and distributed generation solar projects globally.
