Aditxt names Jeffrey Busch as interim CEO

June 1, 2026 8:15 AM

Aditxt Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTX) appointed Jeffrey M. Busch as interim chief executive officer, effective May 31, 2026, according to a company statement. Busch has served as CEO of Aditxt's precision oncology diagnostics subsidiary Ignite Proteomics since March 2026 and will continue in that role while leading the parent company.

The appointment follows the resignation of co-founder and former CEO Amro Albanna, who stepped down from his position and the company's board. Albanna led Aditxt through its public listing and acquisition strategy, including the addition of Ignite to the company's portfolio.

Busch founded Global Medical REIT Inc., which was later renamed Chiron Real Estate Inc. (NYSE: XRN), and built the healthcare real estate investment trust to over $1 billion in enterprise value. During his tenure as CEO, the company maintained an average annual dividend yield of approximately 8.5% to shareholders.

The executive holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from New York University Stern School of Business, a Master of Public Administration in health policy from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from Emory University. He previously served as a congressional aide and was appointed by two U.S. presidents to serve in their administrations, including as a U.S. delegate to the United Nations in Geneva.

Aditxt operates through its subsidiary Ignite Proteomics, a CLIA-certified precision oncology diagnostics laboratory that uses Reverse Phase Protein Array technology. The subsidiary holds a Medicare PLA code and has clinical collaborations with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The company stated it does not currently have a dividend policy and has no plans to declare or pay cash dividends to stockholders. Any future dividend decisions would require board approval and depend on various factors including financial condition and operating results.
