MillerKnoll CEO Andi Owen to retire, Jeff Stutz named interim leader
MillerKnoll Inc. (NASDAQ: MLKN) announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Andi Owen will retire on June 30, 2026, as mutually agreed with the board. Owen has resigned from the board and begun a leave of absence from the company, effective immediately.
Jeff Stutz, the company's Chief Operating Officer, will perform CEO duties during Owen's leave of absence and become Interim Chief Executive Officer on June 30, 2026. The MillerKnoll board will conduct a comprehensive search process, including internal and external candidates, with assistance from an executive search firm to identify the company's next CEO.
Stutz has served as Chief Operating Officer since September 2025, overseeing the company's International Contract segment and global manufacturing operations, as well as its Europe-based brands including HAY, Muuto, Colebrook Bosson Saunders, and NaughtOne. Before serving as COO, Stutz was the company's Chief Financial Officer for over 10 years.
John R. Hoke III, Chairman of the Board, stated that Stutz brings extensive knowledge from his more than 25 years in the industry. He joined Herman Miller in 2001 and held various finance leadership positions before becoming CFO and COO. Stutz holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from Grand Valley State University.
MillerKnoll expects its fiscal 2026 fourth quarter results to be in line with guidance previously announced on March 25, 2026. The company will provide further information when it releases its fiscal 2026 fourth quarter and full year results on June 24, 2026.
MillerKnoll is a global collective of design brands built on Herman Miller and Knoll. The company generated net sales of $3.7 billion in fiscal year 2025, according to the press release.
