Texas State University has chosen Aramark Collegiate Hospitality as its comprehensive hospitality partner, with the contract beginning June 1, 2026, according to a press release from the companies.

The agreement consolidates dining, athletics, vending, and campus life services under what the companies call "Texas State Hospitality." The partnership will serve nearly 45,000 students across Texas State's San Marcos and Round Rock campuses.

"This partnership helps create a dining and hospitality ecosystem that strengthens community, supports student success, and reflects the quality and pride of the Texas State experience," said Cynthia L. Hernandez, vice president for Student Success at Texas State.

Barbara Flanagan, President and CEO of Aramark Collegiate Hospitality, stated the contract represents Aramark's largest university partnership in Texas.

The contract integrates residential and retail dining, catering, concessions, and vending into a unified model. Planned changes include renovated dining halls at Commons, Harris, and the new Hilltop facility, expanded retail dining options, and enhanced athletic fueling programs.

Additional improvements will include elevated gameday hospitality at UFCU Stadium, improved access for off-campus students through mobile ordering and extended hours, updated dining technology with digital menu boards, and expanded food security initiatives.

Texas State, founded in 1899, has more than 44,000 students enrolled and is preparing to join the Pac-12 Conference. The university is working toward Carnegie R1 research status.

Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) provides food and facilities management services to educational institutions, Fortune 500 companies, sports teams, healthcare providers, and municipalities in 16 countries.
