enCore Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: EU) announced results from exploratory drilling at its Alta Mesa East property in Texas, confirming uranium mineralization extending more than 3,700 feet east from its nearest wellfield.

The company conducted initial drilling tests on the 5,900-acre Alta Mesa East property, which sits adjacent to its existing Alta Mesa wellfields and extraction operations. The exploration aims to outline mineralization for potential expansion of in-situ recovery operations.

EnCore reported results from 17 drill holes, with 10 showing mineralization. Six holes produced grade thicknesses ranging from 0.351 to 2.297, with the company considering grade thickness of 0.3 suitable for wellfield inclusion. The drilling program uses six rigs operating on 400 and 500 foot centers, reaching average depths of approximately 600 feet.

The exploration discovered uranium mineralization within Middle C sands at depths averaging 400 to 460 feet and Lower C sands between 480 and 520 feet below surface. The drilling targets productive roll fronts from existing Alta Mesa wellfields 1, 3, 3EXT, 4, 5B, and 7.

"Our initial drill results from Alta Mesa East have reconfirmed our expectations of encouraging uranium grades across all major mineralized sand units known to exist at Alta Mesa," said William M. Sheriff, Executive Chairman.

The company operates through in-situ recovery extraction methods and maintains uranium operations in South Texas. EnCore's project pipeline includes the Dewey-Burdock project in South Dakota and the Gas Hills project in Wyoming.
