Regal Rexnord promotes Mark Klossner to head industrial unit

June 1, 2026 7:00 AM

Regal Rexnord Corporation (NYSE: RRX) appointed Mark Klossner as Executive Vice President and President of its Industrial Powertrain Solutions division, effective immediately. The Milwaukee-based company announced the leadership change on June 1.

Klossner succeeds Jerry Morton, who will retire after 11 years with Regal Rexnord and a 39-year career in power transmission. Morton will remain with the company as Executive Vice President through December 31, 2026, to facilitate the transition.

Klossner joined Regal Rexnord in March 2023 as part of the company's acquisition of Altra Industrial Motion Corporation. He initially served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Couplings Division before being promoted to Group President of the Couplings and Gearing Divisions in June 2024, overseeing an approximately $1.4 billion portfolio.

Prior to joining Regal Rexnord, Klossner spent 19 years with Altra Motion, serving as President of the Gearing Division for six years and President of the Couplings Division for seven years. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University.

Morton's career with the power transmission business began when it was acquired from Emerson in 2015. He has served as Executive Vice President and President of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions division since 2023.

The appointment reflects the company's internal succession planning process, according to the press release statement.
