Li Auto delivers 33,350 vehicles in May, cumulative sales reach 1.7M
Li Auto Inc. (NASDAQ: LI) delivered 33,350 vehicles in May 2026, bringing its cumulative deliveries to 1,702,792 units as of May 31, according to a company statement.
The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer reported that monthly deliveries of its Li i6 model have exceeded 20,000 units consistently since March. The company launched its new Li L9 model in May and began deliveries of the vehicle during the month.
Li Auto said it received over 10,000 orders for the Li L9 Livis within two weeks of the model's launch. The company plans to launch the Li L8, described as a five-seat flagship SUV, in late June.
The automaker will host a technology event in June focused on its in-cabin interaction, foundation model, assisted driving, system agents, and in-house chip capabilities.
As of May 31, Li Auto operated 498 retail stores across 160 cities and maintained 543 servicing centers and authorized servicing shops in 222 cities. The company's charging infrastructure included 4,088 super charging stations with 22,563 charging stalls throughout China.
Li Auto trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker LI and on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as 2015.
