InterDigital to showcase 6G technologies at European conference
InterDigital Inc. (NASDAQ: IDCC) will participate in the European Conference on Networks and Communications and 6G Summit taking place in Malaga, Spain from June 2-5, 2026, according to a company press release.
The wireless technology company will demonstrate collaborative sensing for 6G applications as part of the European Commission-funded SNS JU MultiX project. The technology combines sensing measurements from cellular and Wi-Fi signals to improve detection accuracy and spatial resolution in indoor environments.
InterDigital engineers will participate in multiple panels and presentations during the event. Muhammad Awais Jadoon will moderate a workshop on agentic networking for AI agents in 6G systems, while Sebastian Robitzsch will join presentations on architecture advancements and standardization efforts.
Alain Mourad, head of InterDigital's Wireless Lab Europe and chair of the ETSI Integrated Sensing and Communication Industry Specification Group, will present on ISAC technology adoption in 5G-Advanced and discuss ongoing 6G studies in 3GPP and ITU-R IMT-2030.
The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, European Association for Signal Processing, and European Association on Antennas and Propagation. Topics range from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems.
