Integra Resources advances DeLamar permitting with federal notice
Integra Resources Corp. (TSXV: ITR) (NYSE American: ITRG) announced that the United States Bureau of Land Management published a Notice of Intent in the Federal Register to begin the National Environmental Policy Act review process for the DeLamar Project in Idaho.
The notice initiates preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement and begins the public scoping and stakeholder engagement process. Following public scoping and a 30-day comment period, the BLM will conduct environmental analysis and is expected to publish the final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision in the second half of 2027.
The DeLamar Project has been included in the U.S. Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council's FAST-41 Transparency Projects Program. Based on the Federal Permitting Dashboard, the federal permitting process anticipates a final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision to be published in the third quarter of 2027, establishing a 15-month NEPA process for DeLamar.
U.S. Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho stated that projects like DeLamar can help strengthen America's domestic supply chains while supporting jobs in rural communities. U.S. Senator James Risch of Idaho called the announcement "a critical step in securing our mineral supply chain."
George Salamis, President and CEO of Integra, said the publication reflects more than seven years of technical work, environmental baseline studies, and stakeholder engagement. Since 2021, the company has engaged with over 49,000 stakeholders and held more than 1,400 events, tours, and open houses.
Integra operates the Florida Canyon Mine in Nevada and is developing the DeLamar Project in southwestern Idaho and the Nevada North Project in western Nevada. The information is based on a company press release statement.
