BRP shareholders elect 12 directors at annual meeting
BRP Inc. (TSX: DOO) (NASDAQ: DOO) held its annual shareholder meeting on May 28, 2026, in a virtual format. All 12 director nominees listed in the company's management proxy circular dated April 22, 2026, were elected by a majority of votes cast.
The elected directors include Pierre Beaudoin, who serves as board chair, along with Élaine Beaudoin, Joshua Bekenstein, Charles Bombardier, Ernesto M. Hernández, Katherine Kountze, Denis Le Vot, Nicholas Nomicos, Edward Philip, Michael Ross, Barbara Samardzich, and Hildegard Maria Wortmann.
Vote results showed strong support for most nominees, with approval rates ranging from 92.85% to 99.96%. Ernesto M. Hernández, Katherine Kountze, and Michael Ross received the highest approval rates at 99.96% each. Joshua Bekenstein received the lowest approval rate at 92.85%.
The company announced the composition of its board committees following the election. Edward Philip chairs both the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and the Nominating, Governance and Social Responsibility Committee. Michael Ross chairs the Audit Committee, while Barbara Samardzich, who serves as lead independent director, chairs the Investment and Risk Committee.
