Hudson Technologies secures DLA contract extension through November 2026
Hudson Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: HDSN) received a contract extension from the United States Defense Logistics Agency extending its existing agreement from July 29, 2026 to November 29, 2026, with options for two additional three-month extensions through May 29, 2027.
The refrigerant services company was originally awarded a five-year DLA contract in July 2016 as prime contractor for managing, supplying and selling refrigerants, compressed gases and cylinders. The contract included a five-year renewal option exercised in July 2021.
Hudson Technologies retained the contract following a competitive review in October 2025. However, the DLA rescinded the 2025 contract award in January 2026 after a bid protest was filed challenging the evaluation methodology and award decision.
The contract extension allows Hudson Technologies to continue providing uninterrupted service to the DLA while the agency completes its review process and rebidding procedures.
"We appreciate the DLA's continued business and view this contract extension as a strong endorsement of the value Hudson has delivered throughout our more than 10-year relationship," said Ken Gaglione, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Hudson Technologies operates as a refrigerant reclaimer and provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry services. The company's services include refrigerant management, system decontamination and monitoring services for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
